Way Maker, Miracle-worker, Promise-keeper
There is a popular worship song called ‘Way Maker’ by Sinach from Nigeria. You may have heard it recorded by Michael W. Smith, Mandisa, and others. I love the lyrics to the song!

I think, at times, we forget the Names of God, and how they portray His character. And we also forget that He IS a Way-Maker when there seems there is no way! He is a Miracle-Worker, to which I can attest! I have personally seen His miracles. He is a Promise-Keeper who is not a liar. He keeps his promises, and we who are Believers in Yeshua know this to be true! ALL of His promises are yeah and amen. Yes and amen. These two words are powerful! (Much like these two words... Way Maker!)
Here are the original lyrics:
You are here Moving in our midst I worship you I worship you
You are here Working in this place I worship you I worship you
You are here Moving in our midst I worship you I worship you
You are here Working in this place I worship you I worship you
Way-maker Miracle worker Promise keeper Light in the darkness My God That is who you are Way-maker Miracle worker Promise keeper Light in the darkness
My God That is who you are
You are here Touching every heart I worship you I worship you
You are here Healing every heart I worship you I worship you
You are here Turning lives around I worship you I worship you
You are here Mending every heart I worship you I worship you
Way-maker Miracle worker Promise keeper Light in the darkness My God That is who you are Way-maker Miracle worker Promise keeper Light in the darkness
My God That is who you are
You wipe away all tears You mend the broken heart You’re the answer to it all Jesus
You wipe away all tears You mend the broken heart You’re the answer to it all (to it all) Jesus
Way-maker Miracle worker Promise keeper Light in the darkness My God That is who you are Way-maker Miracle worker Promise keeper Light in the darkness
My God That is who you are
You are here Touching every life I worship you I worship you
You are here Meeting every need I worship you I worship you

What exactly does it mean to be a Way-Maker?
God moves through the earth via the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) living in us.
He reaches out to mankind,
provides for all our needs,
makes a way for us,
performs miracles,
keeps His promises,
and defeats darkness with His light.
He will one day wipe all tears from Believers' eyes when we enter His Heavenly Kingdom.
However, you are not in the flesh but in the Ruach—if indeed the Ruach Elohim dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Ruach of Messiah, he does not belong to Him. But if Messiah is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the Spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Ruach of the One who raised Yeshua from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised Messiah Yeshua from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Ruach who dwells in you. Romans 8:9-11 Tree of Life Version (TLV) He alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise, the one who has done these mighty miracles that you have seen with your own eyes. Deuteronomy 10:21 New Living Translation (NLT) Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. Joshua 23:14 New International Version (NIV) The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some consider slowness. Rather, He is being patient toward you—not wanting anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 (TLV) This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1: 5-9 (NIV)
These words and scriptures provide truth, hope, and promises for us!
If we can even wrap our minds around this, it would be enough to see us through our entire lives! In bad times, good times, sad times, happy times, and all times!
I can’t imagine being hopeless with no anchor in the storms of life. It is a terrible struggle for those who don’t know this hope, for those who don’t understand His promises of life from this death we see daily, all around us.
Lord, help us to be the hands and feet of the Way-Maker so that we may spread your truth, hope, and light.
In Yeshua's love,
Joyce
